| In order for it to be direct evidence, you would have had to see Jesus make the prophecy, and then see the prophecy come true. Since you have seen neither, I think it's safe to say that your evidence is circumstantial, and your belief is just that.
Edit: I see that this post is a bit sketchy. By "seeing" evidence, I mean being able to verify it directly, which texasdave obviously cannot do, since there is little to no direct evidence for the existence of Jesus himself. And since we can't definitively say that Jesus existed, we clearly cannot say that his words are prophecy. The Jews may or may not have been free or wandered or whatever, but how do we know that it was a prophecy? |
