Reason is giving way to mysticism??? Have you investigated the museum's claims at all? There is scientific evidence that backs up their claims. Evolutionary theory is far from perfect and far from scientific. It has never been observed (a species evolving into another) and the fossil record really doesn't support it. There are unfossilized dinosaur bones and there are no transitional fossils. If things evolved over millions of years, you'd think that many of the fossils would be transitional, wouldn't you? What bothers me is that people are dismissing the creationist claims without investigating the claims. The creationists are not nutcases; they see the scientific evidence and draw their conclusions from it. The fact that the evidence is backed up by the bible is a BONUS. I may be wrong but people seem to be missing that fact. They seem to think that creationists are merely basing all their claims on the bible with absolutely no scientific evidence to support it.

Have you investigated the museum's claims? They have taken scientific evidence and drawn logical conclusions from it. The fact that the bible backs it up is a BONUS. It's like doing a crossword puzzle while having the answer key. You can logically fill in the answers but can be assured that you're right because you have the answer key to back you up. My point is that they haven't taken the answer key to do the puzzle; but rather that they have done the puzzle and checked their answers (with the bible).
Which specific conclusions based on scientific evidence are you finding ridiculous? Have you seen the evidence?
Where is the evolutionary evidence for a species evolving into another species? There are absolutely NO transitionary fossils in existence. You'd think there'd be a lot if the process took millions of years, wouldn't you? Evolutionary theory is a theory with many unanswered questions. I don't think it should be considered fact.

It's very humorous that evolutionists, who only go back several decades, and who's teachings are entirely theory, can squawk so loudly about the world's oldest archeologically verifiable historical record available to humanity--the Bible. Okay, disprove with archeologically based facts and evidence that what Ken Ham says is false. Don't ramble on with this garblygook about fairytales and contradictions. It's threatning, plain and simple. Insecurity always belittles what it can't deny or disprove.

Creationism is not such the unresasonable and illogical proposition it is argued. How many non-Creationists, if ruthlessly honest with themselves, would not permit some room for wonder, about our existence.
The apostle Paul says that "The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them. For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities- His eternal power and divine nature- have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." Romans 1:18-120
Just looking in the mirror reveals the very imprint of our Creator, as does the sublime beauty and perfect interconnectedness of natures design. Creationism does not imply a rejection of reason; rather the proper conclusion of reason is Creationsim.
