No offense taken, O.F. I gave a very flip response, and I didn't, of course mean that what past presidents did doesn't matter. What I meant was that we don't have the luxury of ruminating about what might have been if such-and-such a president hadn't done what he did. We have a serious and IMMEDIATE problem with Bush steam-rolling his Straussian policies all over us.
We have to act NOW about what's going on, or it will be, as in 1930s Germany, too late. If these factions of the PANC aren't driven out of the Administration, soon, we're all going to be watching goose-stepping soldiers march down our street, and all the liberal element among us off to internment camps.
