His language? Over the top and inexcusable considering his daughter's age and gender. His attitude of correction and determination to discipline is entirely justified, however.

Children need to respect their parents. Parents need to love their children. It looks like they both failed in this instance.

Is their relationship over? Hardly. Is Balwin's career over? Get real, he's a big star and an accomplished actor. Will he always be a target for the BO from the right-wing armpit like Limbaugh because of his "liberal views" and high political profile? You know he will, unless he turns his money and talents into support for the war criminals.
