| Oh yeah, and many use the club with the spike because not only does it save on money you would use on bullets, but bullets do just as much damage or worse to the seal then the spike.
Proper seal hunters would go for the instant kill, which is to drive it into the skull, in order to prevent as much suffering as possible. If you go off with a rifle and try and shoot them at a distance, they're still going to suffer longer then they would if you attacked the head as they are trained to do.
You want to talk about animals suffering, how about all the fish that are hooked, hauled out of the water and made to suffocate? How about all those race horses put down because they can't race anymore?
There are far worse things out there that have worse suffering and cruelty to animals that people can be fighting for, and most of all the other situations out there have less reasons and defense for them then this does.
Oh and BTW: YOu can boycott, you can protest and you can complain all you want, but just like how the US wouldn't give two lumps of crap about how we feel about your country and what you do, we're the same way.... it's our country, our laws, and our way of life..... if you don't like it.... tough. |
