Conversations on topics like this remind me of their "Bullshit" series. It also makes me think of a line from one of my all-time favorite books, "The Outsider" by Colin Wilson. In describing the classic
outsider personality, Wilson sums up by saying, "they're those who have seen too much too deeply." There is a darkness at the heart of reality. Some people aren't comfortable with that and seek to ignore it or explain it away.
