| This whole situation merely points to the failure of the Federal Government to enforce immigration laws that are already on the books. I blame the Bush Adminstration for not having the DOJ enforcement of the current laws. I blame the Congress for not enacting tougher penalties against those who sneak into this country and for those who remain here beyond their legal visas. I blame Congress for not easing the means for legal immigration so people don't feel they have to sneak into the country. I blame Congress for not adding to the border security to stop the hemmorage along the Southwest borders. And I blame local law enforcement for not prosecuting illegals when they find them. One thing for sure, there is a boatload of blame to spread around on this one.
