| Bad Laws
In 1941 “The Oregon Law of Family Relations” book details how family is responsible for family. At this time the priority purpose of public education was preparing the young for citizenship and this has everything to do with moral training. Democracy is not a form of government, but away of life that increases moral awareness, and this way of life is dependent on education for its manifestation.
Okay, so in 1941 we had education for strong families because strong families are essential to a strong democracy. Destroy the family and you get a welfare state where responsibility and authority rest with the state instead of individuals, and this social order destroys liberty. Along with the education for strong families were the laws holding family responsible for family.
Education has since changed, and our laws now can get parents and grandparents evicted for having an adult child or grandchild stay with them too long, in a rented dwelling. This forces young people into charity and social services, and screams of our loss of personal power and lack of family values. It is far more destructive to our family order than homosexual marriages, and it is so destructive to our democratic social order, that we are far more threatened by our own mind set and laws, than by any foreign enemy.
A welfare state is very expensive to tax payers and very destructive to our lives. Good Christians are supporting bad values as bureaucrats and property managers. |
