I have lived in both Europe and the US for long enough to see and feel for myself what's up with the "quality of life" without needing to rely on centralized statistics to find out.
The quality of life in Europe is infinitely higher than the quality of life in the US. By far - without any doubt.
You can buy more stuff in the US.
Quality of life does not equal how much stuff you can buy.
