It might be safer to just not invent stuff anymore and settle, and if we where an immortal species we might do just that. But we are not, we will all die anyway, so what have we got to loose? | I disagree, we bacame extremely succesful long before we became technological. we spread to a few more regions afterward, but for the most part we were just as widespread as we were before civilisation.
