Yes, as I've said on this board before, even I sort of miss the son-of-a-bitch. At least he took government seriously (instead of viewing it
only as a means of further enriching rich cronies, as the Busheviks do).
And he did attempt (however badly) to act responsibly on the international scene, whereas it's pure kindergarten level with Bush.
But Evil Dick did have, well,
evil in him. For one thing he needlessly prolonged the Vietnam War for
years before he finally did what he could have done upon taking office: end it. Lotta pointlessly spilled blood, lotta tragedy and grief there. It was criminal.
