Prophet Mohammed (saw) never had trained armies or camels when he stayed in Media. They carried light weapons. Meccans were far more superior and they are the ones funded Jewish tribes' armies. In pre-Islamic times, tribal wars was a very common thing. Each tribes had their own army. Jewish tribes were no exceptions...
