Blaming any specificstorm on global warming is problematical. Katrina, for instance, just happened to be in the wrong place, if you recall. Nothing more, correct? But to divorce the two would be really silly.

The fact is that extreme weather events (i.e. manifestations that there's more energy in the system) are on the rise, especially in the northern hemisphere.
