The games are downloaded directly from the Wii store. If you have the old games already I doubt that there is much advantage to playing them on the Wii unless the controller or monitor is better on the Wii than on your computer. Also the games are cheap and go way back. Not sure why anyone would necessarily want to play old Sega Geneisis games, but they are available too if anyone has any old favorites.
