Nothing like laughing at loud at work, reading each of those quotes out loud.
I'm not so much scared by what I see as what I picture in my head.
Quote:
Imagine a giant spider. Pale, cream-colored skin, long bony legs; eight 12 inch long fingers. Trailing behind this creature is a tail, spinal ridges protruding from the top of incredibly strong muscle. This thing has no visible sensory organs, but it can smell you.
Now imagine, in slow motion, this creature running towards you and leaping at you faster than your reflexes can respond.
It slams into your face hard enough to knock you down, but you aren't thinking about falling.
You aren't feeling the fingers wrap around your head like claws.
You aren't feeling the tail tighten around your throat, forcing your mouth open to gasp for air.
You feel thick, wet, organic matter sliding down your throat. You gag but can neither breathe nor vomit. This organ fills your mouth and throat, stretching your jaw open and your lips touch the skin of this creature. If you wake, you vomit from the taste in your mouth. You see the dead, dry carcass of the creature next to you. You can still feel the helplessness of such a grotesque violation. You can still feel its skin on your lips.

That was the description I read before I ever saw the movie.
Now imagine what happened to me the first time I saw a camel spider running at me.
