| I've been noticing with my daughter that the difference is that she doesn't understand the underlying meanings of what she does.
For example, last night she was falling asleep in my arms and she reached up and grabbed my shirt. Beneath the shirt was my nipple, which she squeezed and held onto as she pulled herself to a sitting position.
She didn't know what she did. No more so than when I'm sitting in the couch and she runs at me and falls forward and puts her head in my lap.
I'm not going to make a big deal out of it because then I will be teaching her the hidden meanings.
The kid in the article may very well have intended to shake his head between the aide's breasts, but that doens't mean he intended it sexually.
If anything, if the aide thinks of a 4-year old's behavior as sexual, she's the one who needs help. |
