No, I don't believe in the need for all that categorization. If you were born in the United States or are a naturalized citizen then you're an American and, frankly, that's the only national/ethnic identity that matters. There are fewer real differences among humans that these promoters of diversity are willing to admit.
As for racism, there's only one race: the human race.
