Specifically regarding affirmative action, you aren't really going to tell me that racism doesn't have an effect on people's financial situation, are you? Because I know of multiple places where racism is prominent. For example, the south still retains much of its former racism. Mid and south California have a lot of prejudice against asians. Have you heard of the law in Arizona that forces all forms of public communication and education in english, while at the same time taking away all funding for the ESL programs?
