Why are Democrats not blaming Republicans for this?
The whole premise of the bailout was that if American failed, there would be disruption in the delivery of goods, and that no other company could possibly open up in such a failing economy. Now, just months later, we have a new startup airline, (the name escapes me now) and they are opening up in the same failing economy, with the added problem of having to compete with American as well.
I remember signing on to babysit the banks if they failed, but I never signed on to bail out any old industry that goes under. We have been duped agin.
Why don't I hear more about this?
Why no follow up stories?
To reitterate, why are Democrats not pointing the finger at Republicans now that its time for such behavior? |
