Unfortunately, fear mongering has worked in the past, so it remains to be seen whether it will work in two weeks. I think we have to keep in mind that most Americans are probably ill informed and can't separate fact from fiction. It is clear to me that the electorate is fed up with wars in the Middle East but the question remains: Will the US completely withdraw from the Middle East or will the Democrats fall short of total disengagement when they ascend to power ? It is interesting to see politicians calling for disengegement is the Middle East, but not really.

We will see.
