| I saw him talk about what he would do in Iraq on Charlie Rose. Reduce our troop levels so that the Iraqi government and Syria and Iran can lose the two way protective cover of using us as scapegoats for the regions troubles while avoiding any responsibility for fixing those troubles. Involve regional partners in the process. Stop trying to impose democratic reforms at the point of a gun. The other countries have a vested interest in avoiding a collapse in Iraq because they would be flooded with refugees and or drawn into any sectarian violence that rages. But those pressures are only going to come to bear when we stop allowing the massacres to continue while propping up a government that refuses to take any responsibility for what happens. He has a policy. It just aint "Stay the Course".
