True, The holocaust is a name given to a single Genocide. Just like the genocide in Rwanda is called the Rwandan Genocide. The proof is that 6 million Jews (plus other minorities) for some odd reason were no longer living on this planet after the second world War and they weren't killed on the battle front but in camps where thier dead corpses were found.
