If those people are using gay bashing as away to cover their tracks, they should be outed. If they tell the public during the day that gays are bad and we need an amendment to protect the country from them and then hypocritically live the life at night, out 'em.
Very few gays would have a problem with staying in the closet for self protection. Almost all of them have a problem with closeted gays throwing other gays into the fire to protect your own selfish ends. One behavior may be a self protective neurotic adjustment that harms the individual more in the end, but it harms only the person making the choice. Closeted gays who bash others and actively work against the interest of the community to preserve power and prestige for themselves are leeches who deserve to be taken down for their own hipocracy.
