Yes, you read it right. Two people in chicken costumes, dressed to represent Ted Strickland(D) and Ken Blackwell(R) in the race for governor in Ohio were arrested for peaceful demonstration outside the debate site. The chicken people walked around outside the debates with a sign that read:
"Ted Strickland and Ken Blackwell are CHICKEN to debate Bill Peirce!"
This is in reference to the two major parties agreement to debate only amongst themselves for televised appearances, even though there are two other canidates on the ballot for Governor, put there by PETITION of the people, even though Ohios voting laws have been ruled unconstitutional, and in unfair denial of ballot access.
Check out the video, and watch as the peaceful "chicken people" are arrested.....
Too bad the REAL chickens, Ted and Ken aren't getting arrested. :rolleyes:
