I am sorry but as mentioned above I am new to this

I will change it , but could do with some guidance on how to do so. On reflection I suppose its actually a continuation of my previous thread. What I am trying to ask is why cant we learn to live and accept each others differences, ie,black, white, gay, straight, strong, weak, rich, poor.
I apologise again,I WILL get the hang of this!

dont worry about it. The only thing is you should have been more descriptive in your first post and not post the thread title as misleading.

Now as for your question, Most civilized people -respectful people are not racists and see humans as equal. But racism breeds racism -even if in some people it is underlying racism. This is dangerous and even though we have come a long way since slavery (in America) and it took us forever to get to the point of race riots in the 1960's, we still have a long way to go, and it may not ever get to a point where we can all live peacefully together.

One example being, in Australia, there is a long history of whites' treatment towards aboriginal people. This has for the most part ended. But you still have Aboriginal people who are mad at whites and they sometimes take it out on unsuspecting whites -who may not have a shred of racism in their bodies. But this action may stir up some racist feelings in them. And Vice versa. You may get some yobbos poking fun at either aborigal people or now Lebanese and their actions cause an unfavorable view of ALL white people.
