Unfortunately electrics currently aren't commercially available. Most of what would be available as an electric would be a "conversion" where a savvy hobbyist removes a gas engine from a small sedan or PU, replacing the guts with an electric motor and batteries. They don't really compare well with gas or diesel. Uphill pulls typically run the batteries down fast.
Right now the best designs for fuel economy and stamina are the hybrids.
