Here is the point. Israel invaded because they were attacked (much like our justifable invasion of Afganistan), but then you condemn Israel for defending herself. And don't just say it is about the soldiers, because everyone knows it isn't about that. The captured soldiers were an excuse. Hezbollah has been unjustifiable shooting rockets into Israel and the Lebanonese government hasn't stopped it (much because they didn't have the military power to stop it). Israel had to take the situation into their own hands. I will admit their methods are to say the least controversial, but what can be expected.
America had a similar situation with Mexico. Paco Villa crossed the border and saced an American town, killing a dozen or so Americans. America sent a battilion into Mexico after him. This was less than 100 years ago.
