No, you are dragging it into the abortion issue. It hasn't got anything to do with abortions. These eggs were removed by permission by woman for in vitro fertilisation or just mere donations. They do not grow inside a woman, no foetus is formed so all this talk of baby killing is merely ignorant/misleading rants.
If Stem cell research went on a national vote, I'm pretty sure that the law would pass as "Opinion polls suggest almost two-thirds of Americans support the research."
