I don't think hardly anybody is truly honest all the time.
Most people who are poor generally have a reason, and it may be inadequate education, bad genes, whatever. They may be lazy but I see a lot of poor people working too, and hard, for very little money. You can work and still get food stamps. Where I work almost everybody has two jobs, and I would bet some are getting the earned income credit but they can't make it even working hard. This is what I see, and all jobs where I work are hard physical jobs. You can only do physical so long and you wear out. That's what has happened to me. I have arthritis so bad I can hardly walk, but I continue to work.
From my experience you don't know anothers situation, so it's a bad idea to judge.
I'm fairly conservative, too, by the way.
