Quote by: Saint Vern It is a non-issue, because there is no "safe sex". The only safety is in obeying the rules as the Creator provided them. That way you are safe physically, emotionally and spiritually, because you know you are doing right and not satisfying someone who wants only to destroy you. Namely the people who fantasize about themselves being "players".
That trashy living has been glorified by the culture rot of our time does not impute to such lifestyle choices anything approaching merit. |
That's not god's plan. That's the church's plan.
"How can we have more followers? Well, let's tell people to mary for life and not use contraception, thus ensuring that the masses will do what they've been doing for thousands of years: having lots of kids. Only now, we're guilting them into thinking they need us... and they will need us because with that many kids they're going to be stressed, impoverished and looking for a way out. Praise the lord and pass the collection plate."
Read the bible once in a while. You'll see that Christ never explicitly states that men and women HAVE to marry or that men and men CANNOT marry. It's the CHURCH that came up with all that.
But that's all off-topic. Start your own thread if you like.
Also, not teaching kids to wear condoms because you want them to wait till marriage is a little like not teaching them about seat belts on the grounds that it's better to walk everywhere. Sure, walking is safer, but if you're going to drive, better to buckle up.
