| Its just another rant on DU, will you guys ever let up? Don't you realize this stuff is of rather limited use? Yes, it does seep into groundwater and can be lethal in adequate dossages, but this is coating on armour piercing weapons, it usually is only deployed against massed armour. It can pulverize on impact (when it strikes armour) but the projectiles are like fat bullets, M-60 rounds in special machine guns often in helicopters, the Warthogs and souped-up C-130s in close air support roles. Its not something as ubiquitous as the article suggests and its a great way to recycle.
