Older than most, younger than some

I'm originally from Belfast Ireland, we moved to Canada in '84 when we lost our front door to a car bomb and decided that any country which names their currency a "loonie" or designates the worlds largest rodent as a national animal can't be all that bad

I've been through graduate studies and generally work as a policy analyst, specializing in militarism, gender and peacekeeping operations. Mad football fan (soccer for the N. Americans). I've had the privilege of visiting most areas of the world with the exception of the Scandinavian, Nordic and Eastern European countries (except for Bosnia).
