The deep pockets contribute to BOTH parties because they know they know the Democrats and Republicans have the best chances to do something for them in exchange for their contributions (bribes). Anyone who believes multibillion-dollar corporations contribute to parties and candidates from a sense of patriotic duty is just plain nuts.
