Besides, active duty soldiers shouldn't be polled anyway. In fact, they don't belong on forums like this one either. It's a lucky thing I don't run this forum because I'd have a banner saying soldiers are not allowed to join and a plea asking them to go elsewhere.

Do you mean to tell me that they can fight in the war, but not have an opinon? If anybody should be polled it's the active duty soldiers in the middle east.
