Where has the need to "kick Iran's ass" been shown as of yet, outside of Bush's apparent desire to start wars for no reason?
And there is no way you can justify invading a country militarily (Iraq) just to use them as a "staging ground" to invade their neighbor.

I know you are dying to see "action" (no pun intended) but you might find yourself like a lot of cops, where they go through their entire career without firing a shot. many have retired without even removing their gun from its holster.
I know you might feel let down but you might just live long enough to see 30.
All I would say is you hopefully would save yourself for fighting a war that WASN'T started by some sleazy, corrupt and mentally deficient politician. A war you can be proud to have been a part of and one the rest of us can be thankful you DID fight in.
There is honor in serving, even in this regrettable war. But that honor is reserved for those who fight in it and NOT the politicians who start wars for politics, power or money.
