I'm not going to take issue with you on this right now. Suffice it to say that I fail to see how voluntary trade equates to predators hunting and killing prey.

Fair enough. There are two ways to do this. One way is through the development of voluntary means of exchange (which tend to reflect the underlying reality), i.e. markets. The other way is through arbitrary decisions (which very well may
not reflect the underlying reality) backed by the use or threat of force, i.e. governments.
