Typical republican propaganda, they always talk about the 4 months Kerry was "in country". Which is technically true. The US Naval vessel that Lt. Kerry served on for much longer than "four months" didn't actually operate "on the ground" in Vietnam.
It did, however, support the war in Vietnam from the Gulf of Tonkin and other places, for 12 months, when Lt. Kerry volunteered to serve "in country".
