He wants us to CHOOSE to love him. if you have no desire to choose sin, then there would be no choice. he might as well be holding an all-mighty gun to our heads and saying "love me" if He goes your way. we would have no choice. your idea as your new position of the "wannabe god" are a virtual paradox.

the suffering is a direct result of our own stupidity. if you won't listen to the ones He sends into your life, you won't listen to Him.
