| Intrestingly this was not the case during tha apartite sanctions in South Africa. The Black is SA had put up with so much mysery and suffering that they were prepeared to put up with the sunctions making there lives more missereble for a short time becuase they new in the long run (as did happen) the appartide would end.
If done properly, sanctions can acheive there desired goal. Providing the population is understanding.
