I heard today that White House press secretary Scott McClellan knew at the time of his Tuesday press conference that Harry Whittington had had a heart attack, news of which had not been released to the public at that time, and yet continued the charade that Whittington was in no danger from the shooting incident. I have not been able to confirm that, has anyone else? If true, wouldn't this constitute a direct and deliberate lie to the American people? Do you still see no effects outside of the individuals involved?
