UPDATE 1/22/06 We have just been informed that Mr. Traficant has been advised that his jail sentence may be prolonged for an undisclosed period of time. He was further informed that he may no longer be allowed to make telephone calls and his incoming and outgoing mail could be restricted. Also, he may not be able to walk outside in the fresh air and could be confined to "the hole". The reason cited was that Mr. Traficant had made by hand and mailed some 500 Christmas cards; the cards were not allowed to go out, or after they had been sent out for mailing, were returned to him, as now the Prison Authorities think that these lovingly created greetings are a commercial enterprise of sorts. What will they think of next? UPDATE 1/15/06 As of January 14, 2006, Mr. Traficant is no longer permitted to partake in workshop activities, therefore he is not allowed to produce any more artwork. The vast amount of publicity attributed to our website and ebay offerings has triggered the Authorities to further restrict his freedom and his ability to express his creativity. At this time, we will be limiting our offerings to ebay. There will be no sales made through our website. We apologize for these unforeseen circumstances and wish you all well.
