| i guess the lesson of this story is that assumptions (even based on broad concensus) are no substitute for facts.. kind of like allegations about wmd's and active weapons programs that bush spoonfed us and the world.. equally amazing that this frontpagemag source (dated in 2004) had such a pissant grasp of the facts - since the bbc article was dated in 2003.. and people wonder why we don't buy these stories unless we can see them in a reputable source.. |
