As I cannot with surety address what was behind his statement, I can only augment your assumption by adding he may well have been speaking of the use of drugs, general hygiene, the burgeoning attraction to socialist thinking, as well as what many looked at as the misguided actions of some war protestors. Many were no more informed then than Cindy Sheehan is today. I, too, grew up in NJ, Westfield and Bridgewater to be exact. Turbulence was not unknown in my neighborhood, but was not the overriding concern of the day. Most days guys were more interested in scoring some doobs and sating the munchies.
We’ll see where the judge wanders
Apeman my friend call me a Liberal I don't think the protesters during vietnam were missguided anymore than Cindy Sheehan is miss guided. THese are brave Americans who are willing to step up and speak out when an administration overextends its authority and its real interest in the nation that they represent.
