You know, I have never read the Chronicles of Narnia and this from an avid bookworm. I've been reading just about anything I can get my hands on since I was young...but I never have read this set and had no clue that it had Christian undertones to it...interesting. I've seen the previews..looks really good...so I plan to see it. I need to read the books too.
Lewis' Narnia reminded me of Tolkien's Rings in the sense that I enjoyed the first book and got progressively more annoyed/bored as I read each book which followed. By the end of the Narnia series, I truely loathed Lewis.

I think Jackson did a good job translating Tolkein's strong points onto the screen. I'm sure I'll get around to seeing Narnia. I did find Alsan to be annoying on the page. Be interesting to see how he plays on the screen.
