You used the term liberal socialism without a shred of irony.
TRUE! It was not ironic.

However; to elaborate on my opinion - Liberals and Socialists are closer to being on the same page politically than they are associated with the Democrats.

Let's look at two simple facts:

FACT ONE: Howard Dean is a very successful politician from Vermont with a strong voter base there.

FACT TWO: Howard Dean has endorsed a registered Socialist for Senate (NOTE: not a democrat - an actual SOCIALIST!)

You have heard the saying
Quote:
A bird in hand is worth two in the bush
In simpler terms - Dean has his "bird in the hand" on the socialist vote - that way in his voter bush he will have two in the bush 1- the socialist voter base as well as 2- the liberal voter base

Common sense makes us face the fact that in a state that has consistently voted in a socialist senator has also voted in Howie Dean.

It is proof that SOCIALIST mindset's "DO Like" the Dean style Liberalism - why else would he have been voted into office by a very pro socialist voter base in Vermont?
