Try this on for size. I don't agree with his policies, so I don't support his policies. If he wants my support, he needs to become a progressive. He's not a progressive, he won't become a progressive, so he will never get my support, nor my vote. That's the beauty of our system. I am not bound to agree with or support him simply because he was elected. My voice still matters. I am bound to accept that he gets to run all the executive departments, he gets to make foreign policy decisions and has all the rights and responsibilitites of the office, but I DO NOT HAVE TO AGREE WITH, NOR SUPPORT HIM. Get it? That is one of the things that makes this country great. I have the right to disagree with the President. And, another thing that makes this country great is that we have a constitution that protects my most basic and important freedoms. If the system works the way it is supposed to work, Bush will be in a world of shit for ignoring the 4th Amendment. If he sneaky-squeezes out of this, our Constitution may very well be dust and then I don't know what I will do. Moving to Canada seems like the chicken-shit option, but how do you alter the course of a nation that sells it's soul to feel safe from a group of people who, though truely dangerous, have no real power in this world.

Tell me, could that be you?
