Quote by: G. Adams Most of Latin America has been trying to resolve their problems, yet the US keeps helping to maintain the oligarchies power. 50 years of the US propping up dictators and assassinating democratically elected reformists has meant most of the South American populations are tired. Tired of fighting against the combined might of their own oppressors and their paymasters in Washington. The best option left for them is to move to the US, to have the chances that the US tries so hard to stop them from having at home.
As for governments booting MNC's out of their countries, they have tried it again and again and everytime they do, the US organises a coup. The only country Latin American country that has succesfully ousted the MNC's without being crushed by the US shortly after is Cuba, and look at the treatment they have had since.
Perhaps if you did what you could to stop your own government fucking up the rest of the US, which it is doing under the Monroe doctrine, maybe they wouldn't feel the need to come to the US. |
Maybe you ought to tell us more about the land where the sun has set so we can learn more about what not to do? It appears that all you have left is Wales and Ireland who don't think too much of you either, huh? Oops, I forgot the wee Scottish!
