No, it's threshed with huge combines. I forgot the details of what they can cut/bail in a day, but they're amazing. You could also do
hydroponic farming, take a look at how many strawberries plants they have stacked up here.
This retired couple is growing 6200 heads of lettuce, and the maintainence is computer controlled. The lack of hard labor in these types of setups, must make it easier to recruit workers. I guess the next question, can you grow wheat hydroponically?
