Did the US Use Chemical Arms in Iraq?:
http://www.csmonitor.com/2005/1108/d...e.html?s=mesdu
"RAI, the all news state-run satellite channel in Italy, aired a documentary Tuesday that accused the United States of using chemical weapons against the civilian population during a November 2004 bombardment of Fallujah. AKI, the Italian news agency, reports that the documentary, entitled "Fallujah: The Hidden Massacre" and aired on the first aniversary of the assault on insurgents in Fallujah, includes interviews with former US soldiers and with residents of Fallujah who say that during the assault on the city the US military used the chemical white phosphorus."

[Yet another possible (if not probable) example of blatant US hypocrisy. Not only did we orignally sell Saddam chemical weapons, but we used DU weapons and now may have used phosphorus.
We have always been at the peak of Mount Hypocrite when it comes to Iraq, but when will we come down from there?]

Cheney Wants Free Rein for Prison Interrogators:
http://telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jht...9/ixworld.html
"Dick Cheney, the US vice-president, is fighting a rearguard action to stop Congress imposing more humane rules on interrogating prisoners."

[This snarl-faced sadist seems like an unpopular Bond villain. ]

Report Warned on CIA's Tactics in Interrogation:
http://fairuse.1accesshost.com/news5/nyt30.htm
"WASHINGTON, Nov. 8 - A classified report issued last year by the Central Intelligence Agency's inspector general warned that interrogation procedures approved by the C.I.A. after the Sept. 11 attacks might violate some provisions of the international Convention Against Torture, current and former intelligence officials say."

Grandpa h.
I can't speak to chemical weapons, but I have it straight from a soldier who was in Iraq that he used weapons that were certainly NOT conventional. This is all I will say about it.
