| There should be no minimum wage period. This type of socialist legislation (along with a whole host of other socialist legislation) is what is driving companies abroad. Who is the government to tell what business owners are going to pay their businesses? Wage controls discourage businesses from hiring more workers because of the increased wages they would have to pay them. And like someone points out, it hurts small businesses the most. The only ones who would be able to take the increased wages financially would be large corporations. So it would actually be to their advantage for the minimum wage to increase as it would crush smaller competitors who wouldn't be able to stomach the increased wages.

well what God wants them to do because
I notice it always coincides with
their own desires."
